ACTIVITIES

This area of Highland Perthshire is perfect walking territory…we have 2 Monros close at hand, Ben Chonzie and Ben Vorlich….and a huge network of both invigorating and more gentle walks that can be started straight from the cottage. The bird watching fraternity will find plenty to interest them and for those interested in cycling, bikes can be hired locally. Fishing for salmon and brown trout, is available from March - September inc.on a stretch of the River Earn, (permits are sold in the local Deli @ £10 per day). Comrie has a renowned 9-hole golf course and there are many more within easy reach…Gleneagles is only 18 miles from us and St Andrews just 1 1/2 hours by road. Clay pigeon shooting can also be arranged at Gleneagles Hotel. Water sports…canoeing, kayaking and waterskiing are run from Lochearnhead…12 miles away. In addition, it is possible for us to make arrangements with Crieff Hydro to provide access to its wide range of outdoor activities… horse riding, quad- biking, off- roading, high wires, tennis and golf, www.crieffhydro.com. For less active but hugely uplifting therapies, Senses Spa, in the village, offers a wonderful range of treatments and massages.
